DIY Pirate Costume
Now I promised a few DIY projects for Halloween. Since we like to do on a budget projects here at BCF I decided to create this Pirate Costume with things I found around the house... Now if you haven't found a costume yet for your little one maybe you can create this costume or take note and make your very own costume.. Now let me begin...(Step1) First I found a old worn out red shirt from my son drawer and cut in right down the middle and than cut off the sleeves. I than cut jagged edge pieces at the bottom. There is no wrong way to do this just cut however you feel when your done it will all look good:)
(Step2) I than went into my daughters room and found this old white dress up top that had ruffles. (some character)... I cut it down to size at the bottom, saving the bottom piece for another piece of the costume... I than took the red t- shirt and sew it to the white dress shirt so it will stay adhere to the costume..
There you have it a pirate shirt... Now the extra piece I was talking about early from the white shirt I used as a neck tie to complete the pirate look.. Now if you would like to further the pirate look with pants, I recommend you look for some old pants eithier in brown, black or white... Simply, cut the bottom of the pants in a jagged form. You want to create a look of torned pants...
Now to add extra character to the costume pair it with some pirate toys or accessories at the home or just go to your local store and buy a pirate kit for under 8.00...
Here is the complete look...
Here's my pirate boy all ready for Halloween:)
Enjoy and now go create your own costume for free:)

Safari Baby Shower by B.C.F Event Planning
A Safari Baby Shower theme is a great choice for a baby boy, like this shower styled by Elana Walker & Crystal Ewing designers of B.C.F Celebration. If you want your shower to be different than just a typical boy banner and blue n white showers colors this is the way to go. The expectant mother wanted a non traditional baby shower that was uniquely stylish. We created this theme using the color pallete orange and green. Along with using animal print patterns to tie everything together. Upon leaving guest were treated to "The Chocolate BAr" with candies like reese peanut butter cups, m&m's and assorted chocolates.. Guest were able to fill their safari theme chinese box with the candies of their choice.. Please contact bcfcelebrations@yahoo.com for your next event..

Custom Invitations
A few days ago we were asked to put together a last minute invitation for a BabyShower/ BBQ Birthday... We came up with this unique invitation that can be sent via text messages, social media or email... For the privacy of the client I blocked out their info and added what would go in place for information.. This is just a sneak peek of the creativity that we can do for clients. Custom invites are always a great touch to add to a party:)
